Thomas Levi seemed to comment as he listened to the live webcast since he posted three separate comments—well, at least he actually listened to it.
I have a correction for you [co-host] Don, Atheism is not the position that there is no god, only that there is no evidence for a god and thus no god worth believing in.
Well, that is something we discussed: each Atheists demands adherence to their subjective definition and yet dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc. affirm that Atheism at the very least included an affirmation that there is no God. This is just a simple uncontroversial well attested fact. For example, see http://www.truefreethinker.com/articles/%E2%80%9Catheism%E2%80%9D-what-does-it-mean

Hey Ken, you wanna know what rational is? its the opposite of reading the bible and thinking it’s true. Because anyone who can real the bible and can say to themselves “Yeah, that makes sense” is about as irrational as you can get unless you have a deep seeded belief that magic is real and that is its own kind of irrational.
So you do not believe that people eat bread? That is in the Bible. Friend, such childish taunting based on generic assertions may make you feel good but upon what Atheist worldview premise do you condemn anyone for anything such as irrationality?
Really Ron? New atheist? Guess what, there is no new atheist, atheism unlike Christianity has not changed, its still the same old boring thing of just not finding any reason to believer there are any gods. it’s never changed because there is nothing for it to change into. There is believing there are gods or god, that is theism and then there is NOT believing and that is atheism. Theism has thousands of different flavors, hell Christian has thousands of different flavors. But atheism has only one, though the Romans used to call Christians atheist because they didn’t believe in the right gods.
So get over it, stop pretending that a new breed of atheist has emerged, the only thing that has changed is the unwillingness to be silent any longer while you guys make shit up and pretend like its real. The nice friendly atheist were the ones who just let you believe what ever you wanted to believe because your fantasies had no impact on them, until they did and then the friendly went away and they said “OK, that’s enough fo your nonsense” and that is what you call the new atheist, but they aren’t new, just fed up with putting up with religious privilege.
Friend as I read your comments from the top down I discern that you are simply not very familiar with Atheism, its history nor the issues surrounding it. Unless you have not been conscious for the past decade and a half or so then you should know about the “New Atheist” movement. You should be aware of the various Atheist sects: http://www.truefreethinker.com/articles/atheisms-sects
Now, you are right that Christians have such a long history of embracing diversity within parameters that Christianity has thousands of different flavors: for example, a local Korean church which I would not attend since I would not understand the Korean language sermon.
Now, since you are merely an accidentally and temporarily existing hairless ape, what do you care if other accidentally and temporarily existing hairless apes “make [****] up and pretend like its real”? (and please mind your manners).
By the way, of course the Christianity had an impact of Atheist such as that most first world countries were premised on Christian principles which allowed for Atheist to enjoy freedom. But then again, there was that little thing about Atheist mass murdering hundreds of millions based on an Atheist worldview.
Well, what is about it as he has not replied. It seemed like a very, very typical case of Atheist one-liner assertions that the Atheist cannot defend against.
